Why are Christians so creepy?

I live near two churches. Both give service every day of the week, but the creepy part is that every time I walk by I see they throwing themselves to the ground, screaming, ranting strange noises, and they always yell. They remind of all those cult movies, about satan worshipper who end killing the mes.

Why do MMA/UFC fighters keep beating a KO'd opponent?

Is there a reason to continue attacking an opponent who is already knocked-out. Not always, but often when I've seen UFC fights a fighter will continue punching/elbowing in the head an obviously KO'd opponent. He won't stop until the referee forcibly removes him. This must cause a lot of extra trauma to the downed fighter.

My cat isn't pooping every day like he used too HELP?

the past few weeks my cat has been pooping every few days. he used to go every day like clockwork but lately he seems to be having a problem. he's peeing in the litter box normaly but isn't pooping like normal. he seems to be eating and drinking normal maybe eating a bit less food but i don't think it's anything out of the ordinary. I took him to the vet and they said he had alot of poop in him and to give him something called laxatone to help soften his poo or a bit of milk which he won't touch the milk i put the laxatone on his paw so he licks that off him. i've been giving it to him like the vet said but he still seems to go every few days. when he poops it's ALOT of poop like he's constipated and can't hold in any more and it all comes out at once. The last time he vomited some food and before i could pick it up he was in the other room taking a BIG poop on the floor. it was alot of poop too not really sure how old he is but i'm guessing 8-10years, and he's eating iams weight control and weighs 17 pounds, he lost 2 pounds in 2 years. what could be causing his pooping problem? should i take him back to the vet? he won't drink milk or eat tuna or canned food but he is eating his dry food and drinking water. HELP PLEASE!

My cat was just diagnosed this morning with Lymphomic Portal Hepititus from a liver biopsy he had done. I am not so familiar with this and am looking for someone who may have had an experience with this? Deciding right now on treatment and want to know whats effective & recommended? Expectancy on life from diagnosis? Does chemo help.. my vet mentioned it may.... also prescribed Prednizone... but not sure of quality of life while on all these medicines. How to pay for college/is this reasonable?

My parents say that I have to go to a public state school unless I get a scholarship. However, I would be very unhappy at the state school where I live, because I would basically be living the exact same life I've been living for the past ten years. My parents have also been sending me to this really expensive private school since the second grade, and threatened to send me to public school whenever I misbehaved. I realize now that I would much rather go to the better, more expensive college then high school, so I offered to go to public school next year (senior year) to free up the college expenses, as well as get a job to help pay, and even take a year off just for working after I graduate. My mom refused this request, even though going to public school would give me $20,000, much more than most scholarships, and getting a job for a couple years would add thousands more to that. Does anyone have any ideas that my picky parents would go for? They seem unwilling to compromise because they think that I have no clue what I'm talking about and what I want--which is false.

Whenever I'm giving a presentation in cl, I start laughing hysterically...Any tips on how to avoid this?

So I feel it is best you keep it up to date. Do I need to dig out all the really old dirt in my brick patio planters?

I just moved into my Mom's townhouse, which has a patio with some nice but so-far neglected brick planter boxes. The old dirt has been sitting in there for who knows how long. She bought the place 5 years ago, so the dirt is at least that old. Questions: would I need/want to completley dig out all the old dirt and replace it with fresh/new? Should I add a layer of say pea gravel for drainage at the bottom? I'm fairly sure there is bare dirt and not patio concrete at the bottom of these things. It would be a pretty substanial amount of dirt for one average person to dig up & replace by hand; 2 cubic yards worth. Could I get away with digging half the old dirt up instead? Should I mulch as well? Live in Zone 8/South Cenral Texas. Advice please :)

Why can't I both record a channel and watch another on sky plus?

I can't say anything for sky plus, because frankly I've never heard of it, but if it's not a set-top box, chances are you can't get more than one channel streaming at a time. For instance, when I'm recording TV shows on my laptop, I can't watch any channel but the one that's recording. Likewise, picture-in-picture is not available, simply because my tuner only supports one stream at a time, whereas a set-top box allows you to view more than one stream at a time, offering simultaneous recording and watching as well as picture-in-picture. Hi I just had my 3rd iui done on Monday 3/30. I had an ultra sound on thursday before U/S that showed one maturing follicle at 18 and another one at i believe 14 or 15. so I finished the rest of my follistim 75mg thursday and friday. Than took ovidrel shot on saturday around 9pm. Could the follistim have made the smaller follicle mature to an 18? or did i have only one follicle for the iui? Hubby's count was 197 million after washing with 76% motility.. is that good? what do you think my chances are for success this cycle? im now 4 days past iui and have been getting sharp pains in my right side since the day after iui and have to urinate frequently .. is this a good sign? Ok i am having a problem connecting with friends on modern warfare 2 on my xbox 360..?

i have researched and watched many videos and still cannot find the source to my problem. the friends im trying to connect to are local and with 30mi radius. i've tried port forwarding. managing dmz. my nat type is open. and still cannot connect with their games or parties. i've also tried changing my local ip from 192.168.1.1 to something like 192.168.2.1 and even to something more specific like 192.168.1.125. STILL NOTHING! the last thing i've tried is direct connecting my xbox with my IP's modem and that still wont work. it irritates me and i cannot find a solution. i use a Linksys by cisco model WRT54GS2 router that i connect my xbox to. my friends have either the same router or the WRT54G router and i've noticed that we all get the same ip from the router. could this be the problem? if not can someone help me....... up to this point i feel i've tried everything

Having trouble with my truck. Blowing whiteish/blueish smoke.?

i own a 99 dodge ram 2500 v10. i was helping my girlfriend move when all of a sudden i was at a stop, put it in reverse and heard a bang behind me. Looked back and there was a black puff of smoke. turned it off, tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't start. after letting it sit it started. drove it home and took a look at it. the engine was running rough so i figured maybe it was an electrical problem. i changed the spark plugs and the number 1 and number 3 plugs were shot. i replaced them and the #3 plug still wasn't igniting. changed the wires, wasn't the problem. looked at the coil and and its throwing a spark but the cylinder still wasnt firing. I changed the fuel injector on that cylinder and it didnt change anything. the catalytic converters were also both blown out. I don't know what else to replace. It's currently blowing white and possibly blue smoke out of one exhaust pipes, the side the number 3 is on (true dual exhaust) . I may try the oxygen sensor next but i don't know what else to try. if anyone could give me a direction to go in I'd be extremely grateful.

Very very good, but like one poster said there's a bit too much purple prose in the beginning, meaning the description is a bit of an overkill. You want to set the scene not hit the reader over the head with it and ram it down their throats. Don't worry about using he or he's too much. In books on writing they say one of the mistake new writers is feeling the need to vary word like he or he said. Your story is written in the third person so it's logical that you would use the word he or he's a lot. I like the rest of the descriptions in the story, to me it felt just right. I could picture what was going on. I think your pacing is good to it doesn't take long to get lost in the story. The only other thing I would suggest is describing the old man's fear a little bit. Was he sweating? Was his heart racing? Things like that.

I would suggest that perhaps your filter needs to be replaced. I know my furnace occasionally smells like burning dust - because the filter is dirty or the vents need to be cleaned out. Especially at the start of fall when the furnace hasn't been running all summer. Get your ducts cleaned out and see if that helps. And as far as the carbon monoxide goes....you can't smell it, and you can go to any hardware store and purchase a detector.

I was the most popular guy in school my whole life, until just recently. The girls loved me, i had good grades, i was handsome until this girl i dated chelsea came along. Feeling so down, too much stress?

Can Army PCS orders get deleted by unit?

I am currently stationed at Ft Leonard Wood as an MP....I have been here for about 3.5 years. I had orders about 2 years ago but they got cancelled by the unit due to the fact that we were deploying (which I understand)....Now I have moved over to the detachment working Military Police Investigations (MPI). I graduated from MPI school about a month ago and came down on orders to Ft Gordon to do MPI. We are a non-deployable unit but my unit is saying they are going to get the orders deleted because I just graduated MPI school. it seems like it's just a blue-black color, so that hair dye comes in lots of different trustworthy brands. Live Color works great, and they have both natural and unnatural colors. If the color in the picture is a blue, then I would say use either Live or Directions, they're both great brands. As to how, if it's really blue, I would say get bleach and toner and do that, then dye your hair. Otherwise, you can try putting the blue-black over it, but I'm not sure if it would work. For those men who have had a vasectomy, question about pain?

My husband had a vasectomy 11 days ago. Still having issues with the incision healing and he's still in some pain. The past 3 days he's d and each time his pelvic area is in pain...he can only describe it as throbbing pain on the far left and right in the pelvic area. Also when he comes he says it feels like possibly the is pumping forcefully into his testicles or something like that...because of course the vas deferens is cut and the E has no where to go??? Does that make sense? So his question is - is the pain/pressure that he is feeling for at least 15 minutes after normal?

There is never any reason to forgive such a thing. Mothers are supposed to protect their children, not watch while they are abused. I went through this myself. I was molested by cousins. It really depends on what muscle your trying to excersize and how, for example, if your doing four sets of 25 push-ups, your muscles have more time to heal, with 2 sets of 50 pushups, your arms have less time to breath/rest and it makes it more difficult to continue as you continue that set. If your doing a 100 push-ups...well that's just worse for you than 2 sets of 50 reps. Hope this helped you out a bit.

I was thrown out of university (uk) for having a mental illness 5 years ago. My work was good and I was getting my dissertation together. I had to defer and restart the third year as I was in hospital with my illness for a month. When I went back to uni the attitude of my lecturers was terrible and one of them accused me of not being ill and playing a game. Another one was not interested in my dissertation and eventually threw me off the course. I was not strong enough to fight them at the time but now I feel they should not be able to get away with this. I mean if I had broken my leg they probably would have been supportive because my illness was mental they didnt understand I feel discriminated against but dont know how to go about taking this further as it was so long ago. I though universitys would be more understanding in this day and age.

I am installing a musci/communication system throughout my home, I have finished wiring the lower level (CAT 5E) and have since networked it up into the attic. I will begin to fish the cables down the bedroom walls. Any pointers on fishing to make it as painless as possible? Just keep doing water changes of about 25 to 30% This was happening to me.. Make sure water dechlorinater removes ammonia as well. Lowering ammonia levels is easy but bringing them down to 0 is the hard part. For me it was just trial and error.

well, I live in the south eastern part of the United States. it's beautiful here, with lots of mountians, and we're nestled along the river. there's lots to do in my city like the aquarium, an imax theatre which is a 3D theatre, we have two shopping malls, and we have a murder mystery theatre where you have dinner and a murder mystery play which i think is really cool...i'd love to try that out. we also have ghost tours as well. :d

19-Month-Old Wakes Up in the Middle of the Night Screaming?

For about the past month, my 19-month-old daughter has developed this habit of waking up in the middle of the night (usually around 3am) screaming. She usually goes to bed without much trouble, so this is really confusing the heck out of me. I am almost always the one who puts her to bed, and we have a nightly routine of a bath, pajamas, a story, and a little prayer. It has gotten to the point where whenever she wakes up screaming, I just take her and put her to bed with the wife and I, and she settles down (usually). I know this is not the correct method of handling this, but most of the research I've done hasn't seemed to help much. I don't know if it is night terrors, because when I enter her room she is standing up in her crib, wide awake, trying to reach for the light switch. But man, her screams are bone-chilling! What do I do? Some people suggest letting her cry it out, but there have been periods that I've waited for 45 minutes and there is no ceasing of that screaming. Some people have suggested holding her until she calms down, but as soon as I pick her up she points to my wife and I's bedroom and wants to go in there. Is she scared of the dark? I can't imagine anything in her room that would be scary, but you never know, I guess. She recently had a doctor's appointment, and physically she is fine. There have not been any changes in her life that I could think of that might have affected this, either. Sorry for the long rambling. I am writing this in the middle of the night, after yet another episode, and I am exhausted. Thanks in advance for any advice people might have!

if i owned that 8 year old child i would not have paid your dogs vet bills ... the dog is your responsibility and it was your decision to allow an 8 year old CHILD to walk your dog ... you should give them their money back and accept responsibility for your error in judgment ... maybe you don't know many little kids, but they can not be trusted alone with dogs ... and get it through your head, this is an 8 year old, think almost still a baby for frick sake, not even old enough to go anywhere by himself truth be told ... the only one not of sound mind is the owner who thinks an 8 year old is an adult and should be held responsible ... and i do not think it was intentional bodily harm (remember the kid is only 8 !!!), more likely a little kid who wanted to the dog to climb with him and being 8 did not understand that was not possible ... geez ...
