Who should pay vet bill?

if i owned that 8 year old child i would not have paid your dogs vet bills ... the dog is your responsibility and it was your decision to allow an 8 year old CHILD to walk your dog ... you should give them their money back and accept responsibility for your error in judgment ... maybe you don't know many little kids, but they can not be trusted alone with dogs ... and get it through your head, this is an 8 year old, think almost still a baby for frick sake, not even old enough to go anywhere by himself truth be told ... the only one not of sound mind is the owner who thinks an 8 year old is an adult and should be held responsible ... and i do not think it was intentional bodily harm (remember the kid is only 8 !!!), more likely a little kid who wanted to the dog to climb with him and being 8 did not understand that was not possible ... geez ...
