None of that has been a waste! It HAS expanded your knowledge.Tell them what you decided on instead of surgery.If you are still going to go to college,which you should,I'm sure they will see it as money well spent.It will help you get ahead of your peers when you enter,trust me! They will be happy about that part.Plus, when you take your entrance exams you may test out of some beginner cles because of the cles you've taken,mention that.I did! I started a few cles way ahead w/ sopres and juniors.Not that many, but it did help me.Blessings! I say just pray about it.Then, just be brutally honest with them.
