== that duct and the run of the pipe is probably just looking like it is in the wall and it is most likely that it is in the rafters ... unless you live in a mobil home .... if you can check the attic that is the best start for the repair --- there are flexible tubes -- duct tape -- wrap-around insulation -- and those guys at the hardware giants ((loews &home depot)) can help you with good advice while you are in the store and buying your repair materials ..... get it cool this weekend -- you can DIY....
