Why do so many people think bettman loves crosby?

Like ive seen youtube videos and pictures with both of them and ual references between them, but in the past few months (before season ended) i havent seen bettman talk about him once (dont mind me if i missed something big) Please give me a serious/proper answer. Im honestly curious.
