Is the high school student guy have a chance to the college student girl?

My brother met a college student girl last summer. They are always playing poker every night at the outside of our house with his bestfriend named Princess. Then one day he fell in love with the said girl. So, he is very confused if the high school student guy have a chance to the college student girl. So that's the reason why I asked this question to all of you.
