Can Army PCS orders get deleted by unit?

I am currently stationed at Ft Leonard Wood as an MP....I have been here for about 3.5 years. I had orders about 2 years ago but they got cancelled by the unit due to the fact that we were deploying (which I understand)....Now I have moved over to the detachment working Military Police Investigations (MPI). I graduated from MPI school about a month ago and came down on orders to Ft Gordon to do MPI. We are a non-deployable unit but my unit is saying they are going to get the orders deleted because I just graduated MPI school. I have never signed anything in regards to stabilization but they are saying they are trying to stabilize me.......Can they do this.....I have been with this unit since it stood up over 3 years ago and I am just ready to move on with my career.
